Its objective is to promote creativity directed towards improving productivity and efficiency at the work sites, both in construction processes and in the functional processes at the offices. Since 2008, the OHL Group has organized this award, aimed for all employees, framed in the Group's R&D&i Management System.

The Technological Surveillance and Competitive Intelligence Service launched by the Innovation and Sustainability Management, is another of the initiatives which contribute to the OHL Group's innovation. This is a project aimed at responding to the information needs which the Group may have regarding technology and business strategy.
